Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about how I work with startups and small businesses—pricing, process, and what you can expect when we partner together.
Why should I choose WebCraft over an agency?
I am a freelancer. I tend to cost less, specialize in local business, and I stay involved more than an agency. I am not going to sell you things you do not need. I am honest, upfront, and I like to learn your business so I can better serve you. It is often simpler working with a freelancer than juggling a large team.
Where do I begin or how do I get away from an agency?
I can walk you through the steps we need to take in order to get your business on the right track—from discovery and goals to launch and ongoing support.
What kind of businesses do you work with?
I work with startups and small businesses across the United States.
How much do your services cost?
I offer two packages with different options and add-ons. You can compare plans and what is included on the Pricing page. Custom quotes are available when you need something outside those packages.
What services do you specialize in?
Web design
I can build your business a new website or turn an existing site into a modern experience using current web standards. I use up-to-date tools with a minimalist design approach to help your site perform.
Web presence
I use a variety of tools to strengthen how your business shows up online. With a clear strategy, search engines and potential customers are more likely to find you.
Content
I can help you create content that engages customers and keeps them coming back. That includes editing, optimization, management, and publishing across the channels we set up together.
I already have a website. Why do I need your help?
Many sites I review are outdated, which can hurt credibility, SEO, and conversions. Old standards, slow performance, and weak mobile experiences all add risk. I can modernize what you have or plan a rebuild so your site reflects your business and meets today’s expectations.
Do I retain the rights to the content I provide and you provide?
There are two package types. One lets you keep rights to the website and content. The other lets you retain rights to the content but not the website. See the Pricing page for the full breakdown.
Who writes and provides content for the website?
You provide most, if not all, of the raw content—you are the expert in your field. I edit, optimize, and place that content on your website and other platforms we use as part of your plan.
Will you maintain the website you implement for me?
I provide ongoing support in the Partnership plan. For what is included and how it compares to the Project plan, see pricing.
What if I need help down the road?
I aim to build a long-term relationship with you and your business. The more I understand how you operate, the better I can support you over time.
